UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Data Analyst Summer Internship in the HEDIS Improvement department. This internship will be Monday through Friday daylight hours and will be a remote position. We are looking for graduate students and rising seniors interested in Computer Science, Health Care & Information Technology, Software Development, and IT Project Managment. The internship is a set rate of $18.00/hr.
The UPMC Insurance Services Division (ISD) college student will have a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to the UPMC Insurance Services Division, while pursuing their health care career interests. Students will have opportunities to: – Gain broad exposure to various aspects of the Insurance Services Division (ISD). – Better understand the role of the ISD as it relates to UPMC and its function as part of a fully integrated academic medical center. – Strengthen health care experience through work on various projects. – Observe executive-level meetings. – Improve management, leadership, communication, networking, and analytical skills.
The intern will be responsible for working on multiple projects based on their interest.
