Focus on Oral Oncology, across a broad spectrum of oncologic disease states including some blood QUALIFICATIONS - need 2 out of the following 3 criteria: 1) PGY2 Oncology or (PGY1 with BCOP) 2) BCACP or BCOP or BCPS 3) 1,500 hours of clinical experience under collaborative practice agreement 2024 PGY2 Oncology Residents are welcome to apply Advanced Practice License is not required to apply (may be obtained once on board) California license NOT REQUIRED to apply

COMPENSATION:

$210,000-$225,000 annually $10,000 Bonus Relocation Package Amazing Benefits Package OVERVIEW: A true Advanced Practice role. 100% clinic-based The Oncology Clinic has 2 Advanced Practice Oncology Pharmacists plus 4-6 support staff. MD present but not in patient rooms since pharmacists treat patients independently. The Advanced Practice Oncology Pharmacy program is brand new; you will work closely with Oncology Physicians and Pharmacy Administration to build this program from scratch. The program will be designed to integrate pharmacists as advanced practitioners in hematology/oncology clinics for co-management of oral chemotherapy. Pharmacists will receive referrals for co-management of patients starting oral chemotherapy. Under a collaborative practice agreement, the Pharmacist will order lab tests medications, and refills. Pharmacists review planned therapies, perform medication reconciliations, and provide medication counseling. Once oral treatment has been initiated, pharmacists contact patients for laboratory and toxicity assessments.
