Job Description
Anesthesiology - Physician Opportunity in the Navy Reserve - Denver
This role requires a board-certified and licensed anesthesiologist to work part-time within the Navy Reserve while continuing a civilian medical career. Key responsibilities involve delivering anesthesiology services to military members, their families, and eligible beneficiaries, along with chances to participate in humanitarian missions globally. Benefits include bonuses, healthcare coverage, military retirement plans, and educational support via the GI Bill.
Our organization is on the lookout for fully qualified, board-certified anesthesiologists in the U.S.
Residents who are matched and practicing in the U.S. are also encouraged to apply and may qualify for additional incentives.
Navy Medicine offers physicians the chance to serve part-time while maintaining their civilian roles. Typically, Navy physicians experience a fast-tracked career path, providing care for the medical needs of dedicated service members, their families, and other beneficiaries. This role carries significant responsibility and is a profound honor. The rewards for overcoming such challenges are substantial.
As a Reserve Officer, you will have the chance to explore the world while keeping your civilian practice intact. This truly offers the best of both worlds: serving your country while remaining true to your professional identity. You will participate in drills one weekend each month locally, in addition to one two-week training period each year.
You may also engage in humanitarian efforts both domestically and internationally, working alongside fellow military healthcare providers and collaborating with global organizations.
To be eligible, candidates must be U.S. citizens, currently practicing medicine, aged between 21 and 64, and must successfully complete the Navy's physical, legal, and security evaluations, as well as meet credentialing standards.
