Our law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our team specializing in collections, foreclosure, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing legal pleadings, attending hearings, resolving cases, and attending trials as needed. Experience in collections or foreclosure is highly valued, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong desire to learn.

A New Jersey bar license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and briefs for collections, foreclosure, and litigation cases.

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions, advocating for their rights and interests.

• Negotiate settlements and resolve cases in a timely and efficient manner.

• Attend trials as necessary and present well-prepared arguments to secure favorable outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the legal process.

• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop and implement effective case strategies.

• Stay current on relevant case law, regulations, and industry trends to provide the highest level of legal representation for clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.

• Experience in collections, foreclosure, or litigation (preferred but not required).

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.

• Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Benefits:

• Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.

• The starting salary range for entry-level attorneys is $75,000—$85,000. For seasoned attorneys, the base salary range is $100,000—$130,000, with significant upward potential. We place exceptional value on specialized expertise and are prepared to offer a premium compensation package for candidates who possess a mastery of consumer collections law, including credit card, auto loan, and student loan portfolios. Candidates with other types of litigation experience in New Jersey courts are also strongly considered. 
• To ensure comprehensive training and supervision, junior-level attorneys are required to work on-site at our office in Fairfield. However, we are pleased to offer remote or hybrid flexibility for more experienced and senior candidates. 
  • We have a large, beautiful office space with plenty of room and lovely private offices.
• Multiple paralegals and clerks to support you with high volume portfolios.
