Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establish a pleasant rapport with guests.
- Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation, and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends.
- Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires.
- Accurate and efficient use of POS system.
- Tracks usage and inventory and orders stock to maintain established pars.
- Maintain awareness of guests alcohol intake following Alcohol Awareness Training
- Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all MD Department of Health standards.
- At end of shift restocks station for start of next shift.
- Maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with Food & Beverage Grooming Standards at all times.
- Participate as a team member with all servers, Barback, bartenders and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
BRING US YOUR BEST. QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Required to stand and walk.
- Is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain a Maryland Lottery License
