Title: Boeing Summer 2024 Internship Program (Paid) -Performance & Execution Intern Company: BDSI Job ID: 98658 Position Summary: 2024 Internship Program - it's 12 weeks. Starts May 28, thru August 16th, 2024 (must be an active student enrolled in Graduate or Under Graduate Program) The Boeing Distribution Services Performance & Execution organization is responsible for the overall performance management OEM & Aftermarket aerospace customers globally. We manage our customers Supply Chains through a comprehensive portfolio of products, services and solutions tailored to their specific needs enabling them to focus on building aircraft and keeping them in the skies.
Key Learning Outcomes: This project will focus on Process Improvement, Stock Transfer and Past Dues Reductions The intern will be responsible for driving and performing analysis and coordinating with the team to work with customers performance process improvement.
Open order book analysis will be performed and this will require collaboration with functional areas, such as Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Operations.
Inputting a process for stock transfers.
This project will play a critical role and improve overall customer experience and drive past dues down as well as OTD up.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): - Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Junior, Senior or Graduate level students
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year Degree program aligned with critical talent areas (i.e. Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Detailed-oriented individual
- Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Excel (advanced, MS Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to create presentations
- Ability to enter large volume of orders in the system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability analyze large amounts of data and report on findings
