What You'll Do:Lead the EHS Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive EHS programs and policies across our cosmetic production facilities.
Champion Chemical Safety: Oversee chemical handling protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations specific to chemical manufacturing.
Train & Empower: Design and conduct training programs that keep safety top-of-mind-from new hires to seasoned operators.
Risk Reduction: Identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures that reduce incidents, downtime, and environmental impact.
Compliance Management: Maintain all EHS-related documentation and ensure the facility is always audit-ready.
Sustainability Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams on waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
Incident Response: Lead investigations for workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term prevention.
5+ Years of EHS Experience in a manufacturing environment- chemical manufacturing experience is essential .
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
Proven track record of implementing effective safety and environmental programs.
Experience with SDS management, hazardous waste, air permits, and chemical exposure controls.
Excellent communication and training skills; comfortable engaging with team members at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
