We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our 2nd Shift team. This is a full-time permanent position within our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing all maintenance activities in our facility. This role is crucial to sustaining and improving our operations, ensuring that our systems and machinery are always running at peak performance. The Maintenance Supervisor will have a significant impact on our company's success by minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations and activities during the 2nd shift.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they perform their duties effectively and safely.
- Conduct root-cause failure analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Manage and optimize preventive maintenance programs using JD Edwards Enterprise and CMMS software.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Handle emergency maintenance tasks as required.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations and activities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience with root-cause failure analysis.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards Enterprise and CMMS software is a must.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift and be on-call for emergencies.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
