Trinity Gas Storage, LLC is offering natural gas storage services in East Texas to a wide range of natural gas storage customers including Electric Utilities, IPPs, LDCs, Gas Producers, Industrial end‑users, LNG, and Gas Marketing entities. Located approximately 20 miles northeast of Palestine, TX, Trinity Gas Storage is interconnected with several pipelines owned and/or operated by Atmos, Momentum, Comstock, and Enterprise. Role Description The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions across the TGS enterprise, including day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, project cost tracking, and support for the company’s ongoing development and expansion projects. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks experience, a solid background in oil & gas accounting, and the ability to prepare high‑quality analyses and board materials in a fast‑paced environment. This position requires a hands‑on professional comfortable managing details while engaging directly with senior management, board members, and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the oil & gas industry (midstream or storage preferred). Advanced QuickBooks proficiency; ability to manage multi‑entity consolidations. Strong knowledge of GAAP and oil & gas accounting principles (e.g., cost center allocations, revenue recognition). Proven ability to manage month‑end close, audits, and financial reporting. Proficient in Excel and financial analysis; PowerPoint experience required. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
