Job Description

Title: Digital Content Manager Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid) Duration: 2 years (possibility of extension) Our Global Insurance client is searching for a Digital Content Manager to join their team for a long-term (2 year) assignment. The Digital Content Manager will utilize their technical knowledge, data analysis, and creative skills to promote and sell the benefits of their products on a variety of web properties. The Digital Content Manager will primarily work in the Sitecore content management system (CMS) to manage global web properties. This role will also help to document and build out a digital design system for our new brand. This position reports to the Associate Director, Digital Content Strategy. Job Responsibilities Execute on new website development, expansion of web content, and optimization and maintenance of existing content Effectively manage and prioritize steady stream of content requests from multiple departments with short, frequently changing timelines Optimize content according to SEO best practices, and keep up to date on SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes Recommend and implement website design modifications to maximize traffic, customer satisfaction, and sales generation Work cross-functionally to ensure all content adheres to legal, brand, and security guidelines Proactively identify opportunities to improve content management tools, workflows and processes Work closely in partnership with Customer Journey and IT (development) team members Help to develop a design system for use across multiple web properties, implementing design principles and establishing guidelines for implementation. Work collaboratively with business partners across the enterprise to translate business needs into web solutions that are optimized for goal conversions Desired Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design or related field required 5+ years prior experience in digital marketing or website development Experience working with contemporary content management systems, Sitecore strongly preferred Experience working with or creating design systems.
