Job Summary

Providesmedical care to associates,conducts screenings, promoteswellness, and performssafety and healthfunctions.Helpspromoteandmaintainteammemberhealth.Maintainsaweeklypresenceonthe production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Promotesandscheduleswellnessactivities,includingparticipationinHealthFairsandShift Safety meetings. Supports Safety & Health goals.

• Treatsteammemberinjuries/incidentsperoccupationalhealthdirectivesandscopeofpractice. Monitors work related injuries and ensures team members are seen at a minimum of once per week or per directives.

• Contactscompanyphysiciansasnecessary(i.e.,restrictionclarification,afterhouremergencies, etc.).

• Assistswithtrendanalysistoidentifyopportunitiesforimproving safety.

• SchedulesCPR/firstaidtrainingandHazMatphysicals.

• ConductsDrugandAlcoholtests,audiometrictests,andvariousotherwellnesstests.

• Administersreturn-to-workprogramandManagementAccountabilityprogram.

• Ensuresallnecessarymedicalsuppliesareavailableandinworkingorder.Regularlychecksand maintains medical equipment.

• Maymaintainsafetydatasheet books.

• Completesallmedicaldocumentationanddataentryincludingpatientcarereports.

• Assistswithnewhireorientationandconductsnewhirechecks daily.

• ServesasaVoluntaryProtectionProgramteam member.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• EMT Certification

• PriorEMT experience

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear,reach,stoop,kneel,andusehandsandfingerstooperateacomputer,telephone,keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

• Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s)andinamanufacturingplantenvironmentwithvaryingconditions,suchascold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
• Thenoiseleveloftheofficeenvironmentisusuallymoderate;thenoiselevelinthemanufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
• Occasional travel may be required.
