Job Title: Entry-Level Event Assistant
Location: Freehold, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: The Entry-Level Event Assistant will support the Event Coordinator and the broader event planning team in executing a wide range of events. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the events industry, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. The successful candidate will assist in various aspects of event planning, from logistics to client interaction, ensuring every event is a success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and assist in translating their vision into reality.
• Help manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure seamless event execution.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings as needed.
• Assist in the creation of event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of event planning principles is an advantage.
• A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
