About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its company, a role that is pivotal in leading the internal think tank and policy thought leadership arm. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the cryptocurrency space, contributing to the expansion of digital assets into the financial mainstream. This position requires a dynamic individual with a "can do" attitude, a passion for digital assets and blockchain technology, and a commitment to the company's mission of increasing economic freedom. The Executive Director will be responsible for conceiving and overseeing the execution of thought leadership pieces, managing relationships with key policy thought leaders, and developing and executing the strategic plan for public policy engagement. They will also serve as the main point of contact for key initiatives, manage the Policy operations function, and ensure alignment of policy activities with the company's overall strategy. Candidates for this role should have at least 9 years of experience in public policy, law, or a related discipline, and be a subject matter expert on financial services or technology issues affecting the crypto industry. Expertise in public policy thought leadership, demonstrated ability to run operations for a fast-moving team, and experience in providing strategic leadership and counsel on policy issues are essential. The ideal candidate will have superlative writing and communication skills, high EQ, and a proven track record of effective interaction with management, regulators, and policymakers. A strong interest in novel issues and a proactive approach to collaboration are also key attributes. The role demands a leader with excellent team-building skills, a "can do" attitude, and a commitment to the intense, sprint, and recharge work culture of the company.
