Location: This position will be based out of Forbes Tower in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will have the potential to work from home with a hybrid schedule which includes up to 2 days at home per week. Key Responsibilities: + Interpret Financial Data: Analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and events to support strategic decision-making. + Mentorship: Provide functional advice and training to less experienced financial analysts and administrative staff. + Data Analysis: Extract and define relevant financial information to assess past performance and forecast future financial outcomes. + Advanced Reporting: Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis. + Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using data from various financial systems. + Transaction Management: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). + Cost Studies: Plan and conduct in-depth studies to determine the cost of business activities, and recommend budget adjustments and cost-saving measures.
