Description We're seeking positive & enthusiastic Flooring Sales Specialists with a desire to help customer's transform their flooring interior. If you enjoy heavy customer interaction, have a sharp eye for detail and want to exceed customer's expectations, this role is for you! Flooring Sales Specialist will sell quality flooring products and services such as installation, credit financing and delivery.
- Passion for sales and engaging with customers
- Provide expert advice on flooring options, ensuring customers make informed decisions
- Upsell additional products, accessories, warranties, and product enhancements to improve customer experience
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve sales goals
- Generate detailed quotes, considering material costs, labor, and other relevant factors and present proposals to customers
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate all phases of flooring projects, from initial consultation to final installation
- Excellent follow-up and works with a sense of urgency
- Great attitude and communication skills
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Familiarity with retail math calculations (discounts, percentages, etc.)
- * Optional * have a working knowledge of flooring applications, to include: Carpet, Hardwood, Luxury Vinyl Plank, Laminate, Sheet Good Vinyl (residential and commercial)
- Manage showroom displays, samples, and selling tools
- Explain financing options, process credit applications and complete purchase
- Ensure customer orders are going out within required time frame
- Deliver top-tier customer service to every customer, confirms customer needs are met before leaving the store, build loyalty and referrals
- Regularly complete price changes
- Must be flexible with work schedules and be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends

- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year + experience in Retail /Flooring industry preferred but not required
- Customer facing sales, strong computer and mathematical skills
