Food Science QA/QC Technician (IMMEDIATE OPENING)

As a Lab Tech, responsibilities can include, lab calibrations for pH meter, moisture meter, sample and analyze all products produced, read micro plates, complete QA swabs, and complete pre-op forms.

Weekly task:

- Cupping new lots

- Finish all raw incoming work

- Verify refractometers

- Verify pipettes

Monthly Tasks:

- Environmental swabs

- Water testing

- Complete lab/cooler inventory data collection

- Sort through retains, dispose of old ones

- Calibrate pipettes

- Calibrate scales

- Verify thermometers

Qualifications - WHAT WE NEED:

1) 2+ years experience working within a GMP setting

2) 1+ years experience working within a Quality Department

3) Strong communication skills, as this candidate will be working directly with all departments

4) GED or High School Diploma

5) Ability to troubleshoot

6) Computer skills- experience working with Excel
