Gastroenterologist
Location : Southern Illinois / Tri-State Region (IL/IN/KY)
The Staff Pad has partnered with a large, physician-led, independent not-for-profit health system to recruit a Gastroenterologist for a well-established and highly respected GI practice serving a multi-state region. This organization has provided high-quality, patient-centered care for over a century and is nationally recognized for clinical excellence, physician leadership, and financial stability.

Full-time, employed Gastroenterology position
Primarily outpatient-focused practice (approximately 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient)
ERCP privileges available for qualified candidates
Established referral base within a strong primary care network
State-of-the-art facilities and equipment
Integrated Epic EMR across all inpatient and outpatient settings
Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
Opportunities for clinical research and leadership involvement
Monday–Friday clinic schedule (40 hours per week)
Manageable call rotation: 1:3 (approximately 10 days/month, including one weekend)
Flexibility in call coverage preferences
Base compensation: $800,000 year-one income guarantee
Quality and value-based incentive opportunities (2.5%+ annually)
Value-based performance program with up to $150,000 annual upside
APP supervision compensation: $20 per wRVU generated
Call pay and additional stipends available
Fellowship stipend: $2,000/month for up to 24 months
Sign-on bonus: $100,000

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
ERCP experience preferred but not required
