Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our reputable car dealership. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of dealership operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient sales processes, and effective team management. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive profitability, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve dealership goals and objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to motivate and guide dealership staff towards excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments (sales, service, finance, parts, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze dealership performance metrics, taking proactive measures to optimize profitability and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and legal regulations.
  • Sales and Customer Service:
  • Drive sales performance by setting and achieving sales targets for new and used vehicles.
  • Implement effective sales strategies, promotional activities, and customer retention programs.
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by resolving escalated issues and ensuring a positive buying experience.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage dealership finances and budget, including forecasting, expense control, and revenue generation.
  • Review financial statements and reports to assess dealership performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate with vendors, financial institutions, and OEMs to optimize dealership profitability.
  • Team Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and train dealership staff, ensuring alignment with dealership values and objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee morale and productivity.
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations, sales techniques, and financial principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and implement effective strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field (preferred).
