Exciting new contract position for a CONTRACT VMO Renewal Specialist with an established firm - It is a hybrd role - Working from their Scottsdale, AZ office 2 days a week and 3 days a week remote.

Contract Duration: 9-Months

• Required Skills & Experience This position requires a minimum of five years sourcing, procurement, vendor management, project management or contract experience with progressive complexity and responsibility.
• Proven collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills are vital.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing is required.
• Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow is required.
• Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data to apply to software renewal, rationalization and cost optimization strategy.
• Analytical mind and inclination for solving complex business problems.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
• Proven ability to respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.
• In addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records/ files. Identifies and updates missing, incomplete or incorrect data.
• Monitors contract renewal dates; facilitates contract renewals in collaboration with Vendor Management team, including, but not limited to needs analysis and financials.
• Manage processes software/ hardware license or renewal requests via ServiceNow; update status of requests; runs reports; compiles data; provides updates to stakeholders.
• Works with on-premises and SaaS software owners to optimize license purchases based on current need and forecasted growth, rationalize and consolidate software purchases where applicable and establish appropriate contract term length.
• Collaborates with Corporate Procurement to drive cost savings through negotiation and limit year over year or end of term cost increases.
• Works with IT Finance to ensure all software purchases and renewals are flagged for future renewal in ServiceNow.
• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Works with third party benchmarking firm where appropriate to determine fair market value of software license and leverages data for negotiation purposes.
