About the Role

As Temu continues to grow globally, we are seeking a Legal Counsel, Trade and Customs to manage trade and customs legal matters in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on U.S. and global trade regulations, including customs valuation, tariff classification, and other import-related issues.
  • Support internal teams—logistics, customs—on compliance policies, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Draft and review trade-related agreements, filings, and guidance; manage and liaise with outside counsel.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of legal experience in international trade, with experience in customs/import issues.
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering with logistics teams.
  • Experience with custom/import issues in the e-commerce industry.

Compensation & Benefits

The total salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $400,000 annually, and the salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location, ensuring a competitive and attractive offer.
