We are a brand new and neurology and hyperbaric oxygen center dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our administrative team is the cornerstone of our operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient from their first point of contact. We are seeking a professional and highly organized Medical Receptionist to join our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate will be the face of our practice, managing front desk duties with compassion and efficiency. This role is central to our daily workflow and requires a meticulous individual who can handle a variety of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
Managing the patient intake process, including registration and verification of information.
Processing co-pays, deductibles, and other patient payments accurately.
Facilitating prescription refill requests between patients and clinical staff.
Maintaining and managing electronic and physical medical records with strict confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare administrative or clinical role is required.
Proficiency with computers and standard office hardware, including fax machines and scanners.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is highly preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
