Job Title: Order Management Specialist
Job Description
Join our team as an Order Management Specialist, where you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, including pricing, quantity, and delivery details. You will manage customer forecast information, prepare shipment details, and ensure timely arrivals. This role involves maintaining customer information, assisting with inquiries, and managing work instructions.
Responsibilities
Accurately process customer orders with attention to pricing, quantity, and delivery details.
Handle customer forecast information and review against current inventory.
Prepare shipment details and process Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) as necessary.
Ensure shipments are correct and on schedule, advising customers of potential issues.
Collaborate with management for escalation when needed.
Maintain and update customer information in the system.
Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Manage customer-specific work instructions.
Provide support across departments with a positive attitude.
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
2+ years of experience in order processing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with M2M or N4 ERP systems is preferred, but not required
Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
College education is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position with work hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
