Monday, April 7, 2025 TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Proposal Writer with experience in government contracting to support our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting compelling, compliant, and responsive proposals for federal, state, and local government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs). You will collaborate with capture managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other team members to develop high-quality proposals that help us win new business. What You'll Do: Analyze RFPs/RFQs and other solicitation documents to determine proposal requirements and develop compliance matrices. Work with capture and proposal teams to gather technical and management input from SMEs. Write, edit, and proofread technical, management, and past performance volumes. Ensure proposals are compliant with solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria. Develop proposal outlines, storyboards, and writing templates. Coordinate and manage timelines to meet proposal deadlines. Maintain a library of proposal content, resumes, and past performance references. Participate in color team reviews (e.g., pink, red, gold) and incorporate feedback. Support responses to Sources Sought and Requests for Information (RFIs). Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal processes and templates. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience writing proposals for government contracts (federal, state, or local). Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process and common contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQs, GWACs). Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with proposal development tools (e.g., SharePoint, MS Word, Adobe, proposal automation software). Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
