Job Purpose:
The Security Guard Supervisor at Fort Worth Botanic Garden (FWBG) leads the Security Team in ensuring the safety and security of all facilities, guests, and staff. This role oversees daily security operations, manages a team of security personnel, and provides a welcoming and safe environment throughout our buildings, parking lots, and garden areas.
Customer service is a key component of FWBGs organizational mission, and the Supervisor plays a vital role in upholding this commitment by training and guiding security staff in guest interactions, conflict de-escalation, and emergency response. This position requires a person with strong integrity, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate security efforts, address concerns, and implement safety protocols. The Supervisor engages effectively with staff, handles shift scheduling, payroll approvals, and incident reporting and investigation.
