Job Description

Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Sr. Grant Writer for a Utilities client in the Orlando, FL area.

• Location: Orlando, FL
• Schedule: Full Time/ Temp to Hire
• Compensation: $50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with Utilities grants. Grant Proposal Development:
• Collaborate with team members to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.
• Proposal Writing: Craft compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the guidelines and requirements of each funding opportunity.
• Tailor proposals to effectively communicate the organization's objectives, impact, and financial needs.
• Communication and Collaboration : Maintain open communication with internal teams to gather relevant information for proposals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including program managers and leadership, to ensure grant applications align with organizational goals.
• Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities, including proposal drafts, communications with funders, and submission details.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing (utility industry), particularly in the technical or scientific field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to translate technical information into compelling narratives for grant applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for document formatting and collaboration. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Technical Writing, Engineering) preferred.
