We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction & maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring skilled Welders for multiple sites in the US. Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to: Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience and be proficient in SMAW, pulse MIG, TIG, and Flux Core processes. Performs welding processes on carbon, HY, HSS, HSLA, and tri-metallic parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys. Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Requires occasional heaving lifting up to 45lbs 15-20 times during an 8-to-12-hour shift. Requires standing and walking for extended periods during an 8 to 12-hour shift. Requires occasional bending from waist, crouching, kneeling crawling periodically during an 8-to-12-hour shift. Requires occasional climbing ladders up to 25 feet at a time. Requires occasional working in confined space work environment with the potential of extreme temperature exposure, chemical exposure, and radiation exposure during an 8-to-12-hour shift. Job Requirements Qualification, education, and experience requirements: Minimum 3 years of related experience with High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/oversight;have working knowledge of precision calibration tools (weld gauges), be able to operate multiple types of welding equipment, and possess good trouble shooting / problem solving skills. Highly motivated,self-starter withthe ability to work multiple shifts (as needed) and travel (as required). Able to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols. Respirator Qualification Required Must be a team player. Flexible, willing to work long hours, safety oriented. Weld Test Requirements: GTAW Tri-Metallic SMAW Flux Core FCAW
