This position is in the Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, District 11, Boston Ma Field Office. As a Supervisory Immigration Services Officer (Section Chief), you will direct the adjudication of complex applications and petitions from individuals, organizations, and businesses in a major metropolitan area, a state, or multistate area. The work affects the fundamental mission of the agency, the work of other federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the public.

The duties of this position include providing technical and administrative direction through supervisors, safeguarding national security and public safety, providing administrative and logistical support for enforcement activities, applying expert level knowledge of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and developing new ways to resolve problems in meeting established goals.
