We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced  Tax Manager to join our dynamic team at a growing public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be a licensed  Certified Public Accountant (CPA)with a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and client advisory services. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across industries, lead engagements, and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues and stay current on tax law changes.
• Lead client engagements and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and senior associates.
• Assist in business development efforts and contribute to firm growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to provide integrated client service.

Qualifications:

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
