Day shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (08:00 - 20:30) with no block schedules.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in wound assessment, management, and treatment, as well as a commitment to patient education and infection control practices.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Perform wound assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
\n
• Administer appropriate wound treatments and dressings, utilizing advanced techniques.
\n
• Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention of skin integrity issues.
\n
• Manage patient records and documentation in Epic.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of direct wound care experience required.
\n
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
\n
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
\n
• BLS certification preferred.
\n
• Proficient with wound care products and techniques (e.g., alginates, enzymatic debriding agents, silver products).
\n
• Ability to assess and manage various types of wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, and neuropathic ulcers.
