Interpres Security is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer/Developer to continue designing and building a world-class experience focused on customer delight.

About the Role

In this role you will learn and become an expert in our platform, then use your mastery of design principles and user interfaces to develop intuitive and compelling customer interface journeys. Our Designers and Developers channel our customer use cases through our back end development and content engineering teams, with a focus on user engagement, user delight and product interaction.

Since we're a start-up (and everyone "wears a lot of hats") you'll also use your knowledge of React (and other web dev tools, such as Typescript and GraphQL), as well as programming fundamentals (eg. data structures) to help implement those designs.

What You Will Do:

• Work with the product team to design and develop the overall look and design of the Interpres platform
• Design beautiful and usable interfaces to solve problems and implement new functionality
• Produce, maintain, and modify web components, libraries, frameworks, data visualizations and user interfaces
• Incorporate applications, graphics, and video clips into the Interpres platform
• Create tools enhancing customer experience
• Ensure websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
• Routinely test user interface and experience for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
• Fix any UI issues or bugs that arise across the Interpres platform

What You Will Bring:

• 4+ years of React-based front-end development experience
• 4+ years of experience designing web-based user interfaces
• Hands-on experience with Typscript , GraphQL (preferably Apollo), and other web development libraries
• Proven experience creating design mock-ups using tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe Suite, Basalmiq, or Canva
• Very strong knowledge of CSS, including more modern features (eg. Flexbox, CSS Grid) and responsive design
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• The ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills, and an ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Bonus: Experience with building test automation for UI features and flows using Playwright or other testing frameworks
• Bonus: Experience with D3.js or similar data visualization libraries
