About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Sales for its Europe Express business unit. This critical executive leadership role is focused on leading the sales strategy and global sales teams to achieve commercial targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and delivering the sales plan, owning the sales team, and building strong relationships with the wider sales leadership team. Key responsibilities include setting and refining the sales plan, creating and executing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans, and driving the team to meet lead to book conversion targets. The role also involves delivering margin targets, collaborating with the commercial team on pricing strategies, and initiating tactical sales promotions. The VP of Sales will be a key member of the senior management team, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and the ability to inspire and empower a large sales team. The ideal candidate for the VP of Sales position at the company will have a proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering excellent results with a strong commercial focus. They should be able to think and operate both strategically and tactically, and be a respectful leader with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. The role demands a tight-knit collaborator, skilled relationship builder, and an effective communicator with strong influencing skills. The candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and have a can-do attitude, with the ability to take personal accountability for results. Experience in leading change, excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm, confident, and resilient in the face of complexity and ambiguity are also essential. The company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this culture.
