Job Description

Wildcat Football Evening Camp Coach Adjunct

The Wildcat Football Evening Camp Coach Adjunct will be designated for the week of July 7-11 during the 2025 Football Evening Camp. The coaches that fill this position will be tasked with the joint supervision of all the registered campers (approximately 300 individuals in grades 6-12). On top of assisting the full-time Football Staff with monitoring the campers, teaching the campers proper fundamentals and directing applicable positional drills will be a key function.

Duties/Responsibilities

Supervision of campers (40%)

  • Approximately 300 campers are on campus throughout the 4 days of the camp. With campers organized into different age groups and position groups, they are naturally spaced out across a few different fields and each group will require supervision during the duration of the camp.

Football skill instruction (35%)

  • Student-athletes from every position group are desired to be hired to provide skill instruction to different groupings of positions at the camp. These student-athletes will direct the drills campers will go through and provide specific skill instruction.

Set-up/clean-up of camp (25%)

  • With the sheer number of campers participating, there is a need for set-up of football equipment, waters, and tables/benches for each day of the camp. Naturally, the clean-up of all this stuff is necessary at the end of each day as well.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience working with youth in grades 6-12
  • Effective Communication and Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
