Who will you be working with?

The Finance Leader – Logistics & Analytics is a key member of the finance team, with responsibility for providing strategic leadership to the finance function and beyond and playing a pivotal role in the ongoing sustainable success of the business. The Finance Leader – Logistics & Analytics will lead the finance function to deliver on the company’s growth plans. In addition to bringing functional expertise, the individual in this role will play a collaborative role in driving business results and profitability. The Finance Leader – Logistics & Analytics will act as a true business partner, pushing the strategy and the value optimization/creation. Day-to-day, the role will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the business. S/he will have the ability to navigate a complex and dynamic business, and subsequently define and deliver processes, systems, and capabilities that continue to simplify and optimize the business. A significant part of the responsibilities includes M&A and leading integration of the current acquisitions. This individual must also be intelligent, personable, dynamic, and innovative with exceptional strategic and analytical skills, yet one who deploys an energetic day-to-day “roll-your-sleeves up” attitude. This individual must also possess strong communication skills, executive presence/gravitas, and possess the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a cadre of experienced senior executives.

  • To be a valued business partner to the Group President and senior management team and involved in all aspects of managing and developing the business.
  • To provide insightful analysis into the business and financial performance that leads to substantive business improvement.
  • To play a leading and supportive role and be a source of high-quality advice to business and functional colleagues.
  • To ensure that a strong control environment is maintained and regularly reviewed.
  • To be an agent of change for the business and drive continuous improvement in people, processes, and information.
  • To lead M&A transactions from inception to implementation.
  • To drive operational efficiency whilst balancing cost and service levels.
  • To take responsibility for hiring, developing, and coaching the best people to create a strong finance team that is motivated and well-led.
  • To provide fact-based financial integrity and logic to strategic decision-making.

What do we want to know about you?

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a Financial position
  • Proficient in US GAAP
  • Controllership experience in a multinational company
  • Familiar and working knowledge of Oracle and HFM Reporting consolidation tool
  • 3+ years' experience in project accounting

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in using remote collaboration tools for communication
  • Strong information systems/ERP system experience
  • Interpersonal and supervisory skills, such as coaching, providing feedback, and evaluating performance of subordinates, and the ability to coach and motivate employees
  • Deals well with ambiguity; can effectively cope with change; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
  • Strong commitment to business ethics and integrity

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$117,900.00-$168,000.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
