Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to help us build and maintain high-performing, user-focused online experiences. This role requires someone who can seamlessly translate business goals into functional digital solutions with technical precision, creative adaptability, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce websites and applications, with a focus on performance, security, and UX.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand business objectives and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and QA for seamless functionality across browsers and devices.
• Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce technologies, platforms, and trends.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and conversion, following best coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functionality/integration issues for a smooth user shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Shopify , especially with nuanced features like metafields versus tags . Ability to implement and adapt solutions based on specific business logic.
• Experience customizing Shopify for products with manual quoting processes and handling high-volume sales environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and frameworks such as React or Angular .
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Secure payment gateway setup, including PCI compliance.
• Version control experience (Git preferred).

Ideal Profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldor equivalent practical experience.
• Proven success in implementing and maintaining Shopify-based eCommerce stores.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
